Step into a dynamic and rewarding role as a School Psychologist serving students just north of Houston. In this contract position, you'll play a crucial part in nurturing students' academic, social, and emotional growth by delivering individualized support and conducting targeted psychological evaluations. Enjoy the added flexibility of one remote workday each week and build strong collaborative relationships within a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
Hold current credentialing and state licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience providing psychological assessments in a school environment
Background in delivering direct and consultative mental health services
Familiarity with documentation and billing for service reimbursements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results
Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services for students and staff
Develop recommended interventions and behavior plans based on findings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Ensure timely and accurate completion of billing and documentation to support service reimbursements
Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute professional insights for special education planning
Attend professional development sessions and stay current with best practices in the field

This full-time opportunity starts at $50 per hour, reflecting the expertise you bring to student support and assessment. The schedule includes one day working from home each week, harmonizing professional engagement with work-life balance.
