We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber Foreman to lead a team in various high-profile projects in New York City. This role involves overseeing the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including risers, sewer and waste lines, gas lines, and more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of up to 5 helper mechanics.
• Install and maintain plumbing systems including risers, sewer and waste lines, gas lines, and water lines.
• Assemble and install pumps, valves, pipe fittings, and fixtures.
• Work with various materials such as copper, cast iron, and no hub fittings.
• Perform brazing and soldering on plumbing lines, sewer lines, and drain lines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Essential Skills

• 8-10 years of experience as a plumbing mechanic.
• Expertise in plumbing, including installation of copper and cast iron piping.
• Experience with commercial plumbing and piping systems.
• Proficiency in brazing and soldering techniques.
• F60 & G60 certifications.
• Plumbing SST, OSHA 30, SST 10-hour certifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with gas lines and main lines.
• Proficiency in assembling and installing branch lines and shower bodies.
• Ability to work with no hub and cast iron risers.
• F60 or G60 certification is a plus.

Work Environment

Based in New York City at 335 8th Ave, with potential work at four other Manhattan sites. Standard work hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley Stream, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
