Your impact Work as part of a multi–disciplinary team in the delivery of water and wastewater design projects. Apply tools and processes (both internal proprietary and commercially available), quality standards, company policies, communications standards, client preferences, etc. Perform a wide variety of assignments which are clearly defined and require the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, specifically: independently prepare engineering specifications, data management spreadsheets and databases, maps, drawings, and perform calculations in support of engineering activities. Independently prepare engineering reports and process control narratives; engineering condition assessments and evaluations; planning documents, reports, studies, models, calculations, etc. Conduct site visits and field observations, gather data for engineering condition assessments and evaluations. Independently evaluate and improve the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project goals. Lead project presentations for internal and external meetings. Hybrid schedule is allowed. Travel requirements vary per project between 5‑10%. The purpose of travel is primarily related to site visits for obtaining site information and verification of engineering design activities, and client coordination and meetings. Requirements Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of work experience in wastewater process engineering. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and at least 4 years of work experience in wastewater process engineering. Specific Skills Construction plans/drawings, design specifications and standards for municipal wastewater treatment plants. Wastewater treatment plant design and operation. Wastewater process modeling software – SUMO, Pro2D. Hydraulic process modeling software – AFT Fathom. Analyzing and presenting technical information and data to managers and clients. Salary The base salary range for this position is $116,189.00 to $139,800.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
