Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Location

This is a primarily on-site opportunity in Plymouth, Michigan. We value the collaboration and client service that comes from working together in person, with potential flexibility based on experience and business needs.

Note

Candidates must have strong commercial lines account management experience and be comfortable independently servicing medium-sized commercial accounts. We are especially interested in professionals who can manage client relationships, renewals, policy servicing, carrier communication, and day-to-day account needs with confidence.

Job Description

• Manage and service a portfolio of medium-sized commercial lines accounts while building strong, long-term client relationships.
• Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, policy changes, coverage reviews, and other ongoing account needs.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal team members to keep accounts moving efficiently and accurately.
• Review commercial insurance policies and identify opportunities to strengthen coverage and improve client outcomes.
• Prepare renewal information, applications, proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Resolve coverage, billing, claims-support, and policy-service questions with professionalism and urgency.
• Help strengthen commercial lines processes, client retention, and service standards as your experience allows.
• Take on broader account leadership or service-management responsibilities for candidates with senior-level experience.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial lines account management experience.
• Experience servicing medium-sized commercial accounts.
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and carrier processes.
• Strong client communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities independently.
• Independent agency experience is preferred.
• Property and Casualty insurance licensing is preferred.
• Leadership or commercial lines service-management experience is a plus for Director-level candidates.
