Course Director Duties

Performs Course Director Duties. Ensures the effective coordination of every activity required to plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain any course of study or educational program for which technically and administratively responsible.

Provides instruction encompassing the full range of activities involving the System Engineering discipline.

Conducts extensive applied research of referenced subjects through interaction with subject matter experts at SAF/AQ, DAU, HQ AFMC, product centers, air logistics centers, laboratories and test centers and incorporates output of research into up-to-date, accurate and timely instruction.

Works with Curriculum Development and Interactive Courseware Development Specialists to determine the most effective training techniques to apply in house, off-site, and web-based offerings.

Prepares class schedules, arranges for quest speakers, tracks pass/fail status of students, and ensures effective coordination of all activities in the conduct of courses for which administratively responsible.
