Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required


Must-Have:
- 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service


Description:
This position requires the following qualifications and credentials.
BLS Provider certification from an accredited organization is accepted.
A Texas Registered Nurse license is mandatory.
Neonatal Resuscitation certification from a recognized organization is necessary.
Advanced Life Support certification from an accredited organization is required.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is essential.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service.
An Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing is required.


Preferred qualifications include:
3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high volume delivery service.
S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.


The unit is a Level IV Client Designation facility, equipped with multiple labor, delivery, and recovery suites as well as triage rooms and monitored ante-partum spaces.
It provides care in a high-risk, fast-paced environment with extensive delivery services.
The facility performs over 500 deliveries per month and offers 24-hour in-house coverage including attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU support.
A Perinatal Transport Program is also available.
The facility is expanding to include a new Women's Tower in mid-2026.
