Job Title Adjunct Teaching Faculty Location Worcester, DE Department Biomedical Engineering – JM Division Division Worcester Polytechnic Institute – WPI Summary An ideal applicant will hold an advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline with significant practical experience in the relevant area, as well as having successful undergraduate or graduate teaching experience. Abilities to teach in other areas are also valued. Responsibilities Teach day and/or evening classes for the Biomedical Engineering Department at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Teach from established curriculum with the addition of personal expertise and experience. Provide students with timely feedback. Grade assignments and exams. Qualifications Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline. PhD preferred; master’s degree required. Successful undergraduate or graduate teaching experience. Prior experience teaching college-level courses required. Experience with online teaching and Canvas LMS preferred but not required. Compensation $7,000–$8,500 per course.
