We are looking to hire an experienced Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This is an excellent opportunity to use all your expanded functions! This position would be based out of our four Lincoln-based practices.

We have built our practice around one main principle - compassion. We show compassion to our patients, their families and to each other. Our offices are open Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-12pm. We have four locations throughout the Lincoln area and our staff is like family to us.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Someone with Dental Assisting experience.
• A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present the patient to the doctor.
• Clean the patient's teeth.
• Fluoride application
• Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
• Provide hygiene and diet education.
• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital.
• Take impressions.
• Schedule follow-up exams.
• Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
• Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
• Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Lab work.
• Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
• Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays.
• Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
• Write letters to be sent to referrals.
