Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and experienced Dietary Cook. Responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious and delicious meals for residents. Vital role in maintaining residents' health and well-being.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and menu plans. Ensure meals are cooked to appropriate temperature and visually appealing. Collaborate with dietary department for nutritional menus. Assist with meal preparation tasks. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area. Monitor food and supplies inventory and place orders. Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests. Assist with catering for special events or gatherings.

Requirements

Previous food preparation experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living. Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques. Familiarity with dietary guidelines and restrictions. Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Strong time management skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
