Position: Credit Analyst, Invoice to Cash
\nLocation: San Francisco, CA/Seattle, WA /New York City, NY offices to come onsite as needed, but mainly remote
\nType: 12 months with possible extension
\nPay Range: $70 - $100/hr
\n \nAbout the Role
\nIn this role, you will evaluate B2B customers and make data-driven recommendations on credit limits, payment terms, order approvals, and risk mitigation.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Perform credit reviews for new and existing B2B customers \n
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, payment history, exposure, and other risk indicators \n
- Recommend credit limits, payment terms, prepayment, or other risk mitigation \n
- Review and make decisions on credit holds and order release requests \n
- Identify potential customer/account-opening fraud and escalate concerns \n
- Monitor existing customers for changes in payment behavior and credit exposure \n
- Document credit decisions and rationale to support ASC 606 collectibility requirements, SOX controls, and audits \n
- Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Collections, Revenue Accounting, and Legal \n
- Track credit review volume, turnaround time, exposure, and outcomes \n
- Help improve credit policies, procedures, risk thresholds, and automation \n
- Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to streamline routine credit reviews \n
Ideal Background
\n- \n
- 6+ years of commercial/B2B credit, credit risk, or related AR experience \n
- Experience in B2B software, SaaS, cloud, technology, or telecommunications \n
- Strong experience evaluating business customers and making credit recommendations \n
- Experience with credit limits, order holds/releases, and payment terms \n
- Ability to interpret financial statements and third-party credit reports \n
- Strong Salesforce experience — this is a key requirement \n
- Experience with Stripe and/or Tesorio is a strong plus \n
- Familiarity with D&B, Experian, Moody's, Creditsafe, HighRadius, Billtrust, or similar platforms is helpful \n
- Experience supporting SOX/audit requirements is preferred \n
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills \n
- Excellent written communication and ability to explain credit decisions clearly \n
- Experience improving or developing credit policies/processes is highly valued \n
