Field Reimbursement Manager - Seattle, WA

Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for Washington and Oregon to manage patient access and reimbursement for its Respiratory business unit. The position involves supporting healthcare providers and patients through the reimbursement process, including prior authorization, appeals, and coverage education, with significant field-based travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts and execute collaborative territory strategy for patient access and reimbursement services
• Resolve patient-level reimbursement issues including prior authorization, appeals, and coverage denials
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage policies, formulary changes, and benefit design across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans
• Serve as geographic payer expert, communicating coverage changes to stakeholders and coordinating with internal hubs
• Conduct office education on insurance procedures, financial assistance programs, and claims resolution processes

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, OR Master's degree with 3+ years customer service/leadership experience
• Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical or third-party payer access experience
• Strong medical reimbursement and specialty pharmacy knowledge
• Proven presentation, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership abilities
• Healthcare industry experience including insurance verification and claims processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based meeting platforms
• Residency in Washington/Oregon or within 10 miles of territory border
