Facilities Technician

Facilities TechnicianWe are hiring a Facilities Technician to support building maintenance and repairs. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and ensuring facilities run smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasksMaintain and troubleshoot HVAC systemsRepair and replace equipment, fixtures, and building componentsUse basic tools and technology (iPad, computer, etc.)Respond to and resolve maintenance issuesSupport general building and grounds maintenanceFollow safety procedures and maintain clean work areasRequirements:At least 6+ months of maintenance experience (commercial, hotels, or similar)Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentryAbility to lift 50+ lbs regularlyGood communication and customer service skillsComfortable using basic technologyPreferred Qualifications:Experience in building or hotel maintenanceKnowledge of HVAC systems (rooftop units, VAV boxes)Experience with preventative maintenanceWork Environment:Indoor and outdoor building maintenanceCustomer-facing role in residential or hospitality settingsJob Type & Location:This is a contract position based out of Washington, DC.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
