This opportunity is for an experienced pharmacist seeking a dynamic role involving both retail and long-term care pharmacy services within a specialty pharmacy setting. The position offers an 8+ week contract with a flexible schedule designed to provide a balanced workweek, including some weekend rotation.
Location: Grand Rapids, MN
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Rotating weekends
- 30-40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care in retail and long-term care settings
- Dispense medications accurately and safely
- Conduct medication therapy management as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in immunization administration and patient education
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Minnesota pharmacist license
- Immunization certification required
- CPR certification required
- PharmD degree or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
- Previous experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy environments
