Medical Assistant

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Assistant to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth TX.Responsibilities:Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.Perform venipuncture and other laboratory tests as required, while adhering to safety protocols.Manage electronic health records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.Perform basic cardiology-related procedures, such as EKGs, Holter monitor placements, and stress tests, under supervision or as directed by physiciansHandle multi-line phone systems and communicate effectively with patients, scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.Bilingual skills in English and another language.Why Choose Us?Comprehensive benefits packageMonday-Friday scheduleCME allowanceAbout Fort Worth, TX:Fort Worth, Texas, offers a perfect blend of big-city amenities and small-town charm, making it an attractive place to live.
