Aesthetic Registered Nurse

Aesthetic Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Mountain View, CA Job Type: Part-Time Compensation: $28/hr base rate + tips & commission OR $55/hr guaranteed rate Schedule / Availability Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) regularly. Must have a minimum of 3 days available to work per week, with at least one Friday or Monday, highly preferred. Must be able to work during Clinic Operating Hours (subject to change). Expected schedule: 11 hours per shift, 10 hours after breaks. Must be able to work a minimum of 1 day per week, with 1–2 days regular, up to 3 days per week. Must commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance. Ability to commute / cover other clinics: Reliable commute to home clinic and periodic travel to other clinics as needed. Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe and effective treatments to clients, provides an exceptional customer experience, performs laser-based or aesthetic procedures, educates clients on skincare and post‑treatment care, and maintains compliance with medical and organizational standards. The RN collaborates with the clinic team to ensure a welcoming and professional environment while upholding the highest standards of safety and care. Reports To: Clinic Manager Requirements Education Associate degree (or equivalent). License and Certifications Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Qualifications Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Experience with appointment scheduling platforms (e.g., Zenoti or comparable tools). Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, customer service, or sales. Knowledge of skin types, treatment indications, and pre/post‑care requirements. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Problem‑solving ability to assess client needs and address concerns. Team collaboration and client‑centered approach. Commitment to clinical competence, safety, and professional conduct. Attention to detail in following medical protocols and prioritizing client safety. Physical Requires long periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and move inventory and other clinic assets. Responsibilities Include Treatment Delivery Perform non‑invasive treatments, including laser therapies, under medical protocols and company standards. Assess client eligibility by reviewing medical history, obtaining informed consent, and addressing client questions. Administer treatments with precision and care, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction. Maintain detailed and accurate client treatment records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Client Education and Experience Educate clients on treatments, risks, outcomes, and post‑treatment care. Build trust and rapport with clients. Deliver exceptional customer service and address concerns promptly. Team Collaboration Partner with the clinic team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment. Communicate effectively with staff to ensure seamless client care. Support clinic goals by promoting additional services, skincare products, or treatment packages. Safety and Compliance Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards. Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, documenting and reporting issues. Stay updated on industry best practices and continuing education. Occasional Tasks Participate in training sessions or continuing education to learn new treatments or technologies. Assist with special events or promotional activities to support client acquisition and retention. Provide mentorship or guidance to new nurses or clinic staff. Support for the Team Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory checks or restocking supplies. Support other team members during peak times or staffing shortages. Contributing to Broader Goals Collaborate with leadership to provide feedback on protocols or client needs. Participate in quality assurance initiatives. Travel as an Opportunity Travel is not required but may involve support at neighboring stores during peak times or special events. Flexibility as a Strength This role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. In-Person Connections The role is on‑site, requiring a strong presence during assigned shifts to lead operations, engage with clients, and support team success.
