Job Overview A law firm seeks a Technical Specialist in Atlanta, GA, with expertise in chemistry, particularly organic chemistry and small molecules, to draft and prosecute patent applications. An advanced degree and patent prosecution experience are required. Duties Prepare patent applications for filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office Evaluate the underlying technology of inventions Conduct opinion writing and client counseling Provide litigation support Offer technical assistance on projects Requirements Advanced degree in chemistry or related field Experience in patent prosecution within a law firm Education Advanced degree in chemistry or related discipline.
