Description

• Contribute to the development of design concepts, technical solutions, and project documentation • Collaborate with principals, project managers, designers, and technical staff across all project phases • Produce drawings, details, and models that support design intent and technical accuracy • Coordinate with consultants and assist in integrating structural, MEP, and specialty systems • Support quality control through careful documentation, review, and adherence to standards • Conduct site visits, field measurements, and existing-conditions assessments • Assist with project research, including codes, materials, cost benchmarks, and precedents • Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, helping communicate design ideas and project updates • Travel as needed for site review, documentation, and client engagement

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture or preservation; architectural registration preferred • 5–10+ years of architectural experience, including design and technical development • Strong design sensibility and solid understanding of building systems and construction methods • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable team member • Ability to make sound design and technical decisions based on experience and research • Experience with education, renovation, or preservation projects is desirable

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
