Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join an expanding team of imaging specialists committed to delivering exceptional care. You will operate top-of-the-line ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic tests, work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare providers, and help alleviate anxiety for patients with timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad spectrum of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clarifying every step with compassion and transparency
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical competency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
