Position Overview

We are in search of a proficient and empathetic Sonographer / Ultrasound Technician to join a dedicated group of imaging specialists committed to providing outstanding care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, offering clear and compassionate explanations at every juncture
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is desirable

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team
