Position Overview We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our vibrant imaging team, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct various diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with a supportive network of healthcare professionals, and contribute to a tranquil experience for patients through skillful and timely imaging services. Responsibilities Snapshot
- Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams by providing clear and compassionate explanations
- Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure top-notch quality in diagnostic imaging
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues without delay
- Carefully document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical framework
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound methodologies and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferably completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team
