Administrative Route Assistant

:

The Administrative Route Assistant will assist Route Technician/Collectors with administrative tasks in and out of the of the office. This position requires the travel to various local customer locations as assigned. The position requires an individual with a strong moral character and calm demeanor to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain strong Customer Service Orientation.
• Secure, handle, and transport currency with professionalism and precision.
• Safe transport and accounting of funds daily to resolve issues related to gaming.
• Reconcile and balance collection sheets done on a location.
• Assist with operational issues, inquiries, requests, licensing and documentation.
• Organize files and records.
• Perform accurate data entry, review incoming data, perform account reconciliations and distribute documents to the appropriate individuals.
• Receive, sort and dispense incoming mail.
• Maintain accurate spreadsheet of weekly ATM fills and documentation.
• Maintain all collection reports from weekly collections.
• Accurately perform deposits of collections on a daily/weekly basis.
• Assist in moving and installing amusement and gaming equipment.
• Respond to gaming and amusement service calls as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and communication.
• Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures.
• Assist in other responsibilities as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be insurable by the company.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize diverse tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Understanding of basic accounting practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across functions.
• Must be organized with strong attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around gaming and amusement equipment daily. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moderate conditions including temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F. Normal conditions are climate controlled.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or craw and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds without assistance, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use repetitive motions with upper extremities, feel, reach with hands and arms.

Travel

Travel within the assigned territory is required for this position. Use of personal vehicles may be required.
