Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Nurse, L&D – Location: Not specified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the Labor and Delivery department. The role requires supporting high-risk pregnancies and assisting with neonatal resuscitation, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and infants throughout the childbirth process.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid registered nurse license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field; five (5) or more years of recent experience, including within the last two (2) years, in Labor and Delivery; one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years; high Risk obstetrics (OB) experience preferred.
• Shift: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This role may require working in a high-risk obstetric environment, supporting neonatal stabilization, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must hold current ACLS certification and be adaptable to an alternate schedule as needed.
