We are seeking a driven and technically strong Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants and own the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting for a rapidly growing company. The company continues to expand its footprint and invest heavily in the people and systems that support that growth, making this an ideal moment for an experienced leader to step in and make a lasting impact. This is a hands-on leadership role with clear ownership of the general ledger function and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general ledger function, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and on time
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close from start to finish
• Review and analyze financial information for accuracy before it reaches leadership and stakeholders
• Dig into current workflows and identify opportunities to streamline, tighten controls, and add efficiency
• Build clear, repeatable documentation and standard operating procedures that scale with the business
• Serve as the go-to technical resource for the team on complex and non-routine accounting matters
• Ensure correct application of GAAP across all reporting and judgment areas
• Plan for and manage annual audits, partnering closely with the external audit team
• Partner cross-functionally with finance and operations to support accurate reporting and shared goals
• Support finance systems implementation work, including design, testing, and operationalizing new workflows
• Directly supervise, coach, and develop a team of accountants supporting general ledger accounting
• Set clear goals, manage performance, and own the team's results and workload end to end

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a large, corporate environment
• CPA, enterprise ERP experience, and system implementation exposure preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Advanced GAAP knowledge and strong technical accounting judgment
• Advanced Excel and comfort adopting new systems
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle competing deadlines
• Strong communicator who takes initiative and handles confidential information well
