Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

This is a 90-day temp-to-hire role requiring flexibility with shift availability. The primary shift will be swing shift, but candidates must be open to rotating shifts with a two-day notice after the contract period. Shift times are initially from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday during training, with post-training hours extending to 2:45 PM to 1:00 AM. Candidates will likely move to different shifts during training to align with trainers’ schedules, with at least one week's notice before any shift change.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor in a pre-printing facility.
• Mix and pour inks.
• Execute assigned Passover duties.
• Load and operate printing machines.
• Conduct quality checks on prints and ink colors.
• Maintain general shop housekeeping.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure high attention to detail in all tasks.

Essential Skills

• Production experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting.
• Basic data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Quality inspection skills.
• Proficiency in computer usage and data entry.
• Experience in production, warehousing, general labor, or auto mechanics.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and organized, featuring large printing presses up to 40 feet tall. Candidates may work from heights and should not have a fear of heights. The facility can be warm during summer months, and candidates should be comfortable getting dirty, such as ink spills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
