Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room provides expert nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent health issues. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient, timely interventions that support patient recovery and safety. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans. Implement nursing procedures and interventions based on ER protocols and patient needs. Continuously evaluate and modify the care plan to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate, complete documentation of care provided in accordance with hospital standards. Ensure safety for patients and staff by identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and adhering to safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care and promote a healing environment. Qualifications: Hold an active Illinois RN license in good standing. Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in emergency care. Demonstrate proficiency in acute patient assessment and emergency nursing interventions. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association. Show strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
