This full-time, on-site role involves working across two campuses to provide essential assessment and support to help students thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree required
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• Minimum of 3 years’ full-time teaching experience
• Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
• Demonstrated school-based experience as an educational diagnostician
• Strong skills in conducting assessments, report writing, and facilitating meetings regarding student needs
• Must complete fingerprinting as part of credentialing requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to identify educational needs, learning differences, and eligibility for special education services
• Prepare detailed, timely evaluation reports and documentation
• Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Serve as an itinerant diagnostician, balancing responsibilities at two campuses within the district
