Overview L&W Recruiting is conducting a confidential search for a plaintiff-side attorney to join a well-established litigation firm in Portland, Oregon. This firm is committed exclusively to representing individuals harmed by toxic exposures and other serious injury, and is seeking an attorney who brings both sharp legal skills and genuine dedication to client advocacy. This is a strong fit for attorneys with backgrounds in toxic tort, asbestos, mesothelioma, personal injury, products liability, or mass tort — plaintiff-side experience is strongly preferred. What You'll Be Doing Carry an active docket of plaintiff-side matters, managing each case from initial contact through settlement or trial Serve as the primary attorney-client contact, building trust with clients navigating serious health challenges Research legal issues, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and manage all litigation filings with precision Conduct depositions of fact witnesses, medical professionals, and expert witnesses; defend client depositions Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy, case evaluation, and trial preparation Keep meticulous records of deadlines, filings, and case status using firm-provided case management tools What We\'re Looking For Active Oregon Bar license in good standing (required) 2+ years of civil litigation experience; plaintiff-side background strongly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in legal writing, discovery, depositions, and courtroom proceedings Ability to independently manage a demanding caseload with attention to detail and deadlines Empathetic approach to client communication — you will work regularly with clients facing life-altering diagnoses What\'s On The Table Base salary of $120,000–$180,000 depending on experience Full benefits: health, dental, vision, and retirement Long-term career track with a firm that has national reach and deep roots in Portland A collegial, supportive team culture where attorneys are respected and given the resources to succeed To apply or have a confidential conversation, contact Jeff Roberts at L&W Recruiting: Phone/Text: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr L&W Recruiting, Inc
