Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant Location: Albuquerque, NM Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Compensation: $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team on a contract to hire basis. This position is onsite in Albuquerque and offers the opportunity to transition into a long term role.

This role will support the accounts payable function with a focus on administrative and audit related tasks. The team is currently preparing for and working through an active audit, so we need someone who can jump in quickly and help keep things moving.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the accounts payable process with day to day tasks
• Assisting with credit card reconciliation and tracking
• Scanning and organizing financial documents
• Helping gather and review documentation for audit requests
• Working closely with internal team members to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting support
• Exposure to audit processes or working alongside auditors is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
• Comfortable handling confidential financial information
