You will work closely with landowners, legal counsel, company partners, and external stakeholders to support projects while providing excellent customer service and resolving complex land-related issues. The ability to influence others, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization are keys to success.Responsibilities/Expectations:Negotiates, acquires, and manages land and property rights for pipelines and facilitiesMeets with landowners, local leaders, and stakeholders to negotiate easements, purchase agreements, and other land-related rightsSupports maintenance, operations, relocation, abandonment, and growth capital projectsPrepares and manages project budgetsConducts market research and analyzes economic conditions, real estate developments, and land transactionsCollaborates with legal counsel to prepare and maintain contracts, title reports, legal descriptions, and other land-related documentsProvides guidance and support to project teams on land-related mattersMentors other land team members and contract support personnelRepresents the company in public meetings, hearings, and external stakeholder interactions as neededOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Land Representative IIIRequired: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years' experience in oil and gas industry, land, real estate, or legalPreferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Senior Right of Way Professional certificationSenior Land RepresentativeRequired: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in oil and gas industry, land, real estate, or legalPreferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Senior Right of Way Professional certificationOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skillsDemonstrates ability to prepare, interpret, and negotiate contractsStrong negotiation and relationship-building skillsLevel Placement Considerations: Candidates will be considered for either the Land Representative III or Senior Land Representative level based on their experience, demonstrated skills, scope of responsibility, and overall qualifications.#LI-AB1Hourly/Salary Guidelines:(Minimum, Midpoint, Maximum)$100,900 - $147,400 - $201,800We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
