Quick Facts: Location: 700 South Park Street, Madison, WI 53715 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 12/26/2027 Shift: 7 days on, Monday 06:00 AM - following Monday 07:00 AM (Day shift 07:00 - 18:00, includes call) Hours/Week: 16 hours per shift, 7 days per week Employment Type: Full-time contract Licenses/Certs: Wisconsin state medical license, Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 2 years in general cardiology, inpatient rounding, ECHO and EKG interpretation, supervisory experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $278.85 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success What You'll Do: Provide inpatient cardiology coverage for adult patients in a general, non-invasive setting Support and supervise advanced practice providers during rounding and patient care Interpret echocardiograms, EKGs, stress tests, Holter and event monitors Manage acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valve disorders Participate in call coverage (weekly NOC shifts) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists, nurses, and imaging technicians Support a fluctuating inpatient volume of approximately 7-22 patients/day What You Need: Wisconsin medical license or eligible for licensing Board Certification in Cardiology required Fellowship in General Cardiology; Cardiac Imaging preferred BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient cardiology experience Ability to supervise APPs and interpret diagnostic tests Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This is a high-quality inpatient cardiology role supporting adult patients in a reputable hospital setting.
