What You'll Do

Provide inpatient general cardiology care, including rounding with APP team

Conduct consultations and follow-up appointments for adult patients

Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (treadmill, nuclear, echo)

Manage common cardiology conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valve diseases

Support inpatient services with a typical volume of 7-22 patients per day

Support supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during inpatient rounds

Participate in on-call rotations, including weeknights and weekends, with some echocardiogram reading responsibilities

What You Need

Board Certified in Cardiology, with a fellowship in General Cardiology (Cardiac Imaging preferred)

Wisconsin Medical License (or eligible for licensure)

Current DEA registration

BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience in general/non-invasive cardiology, inpatient rounding, and ECHO/EKG interpretation

Ability to supervise APPs during inpatient care
