This contract role offers a steady Monday through Friday day shift schedule and an immediate start, providing a stable work routine in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Location:

• Based in the Boise, ID area, with work at a 40-bed rehab hospital setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care.
• Conduct pharmacokinetic evaluations and provide expert consultations.
• Utilize Cerner healthcare information systems to manage medication records and workflows.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain licensure promptly.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in an acute or rehab care setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and medication therapy management.
• Proficiency with Cerner or comparable electronic medical record systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
