To thrive in this position, candidates should hold: A valid, current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC certification required) Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-5 students Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Expertise in developing IEPs, conducting assessments, and tracking student progress In this role, you will: Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to K-5th grade students Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education staff and families Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and eligibility Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to support student goals in the educational environment This contract opportunity allows you to stay in one school setting, fostering close relationships with students, staff, and families while making a lasting difference.
