Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Franklin, MA. This role provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and language disorders for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities across school, residential, and day service settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering standardized assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct and consultative speech therapy services. The Speech Language Pathologist collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, clinicians, and family members, to integrate communication goals into daily routines. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, monitoring progress, training staff in communication strategies and augmentative/alternative communication, and participating in clinical meetings and case reviews. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Speech Therapy and Speech interventions, including assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring. Experience working with Communication Disorders, with the ability to tailor interventions to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Language Disorders and evidence-based approaches to improving expressive and receptive language skills. Ability to evaluate and manage Dysphagia, including safe swallowing strategies and collaboration with medical providers when needed. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows with strong foundational skills are also encouraged to apply. Experience or strong interest in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in educational, residential, or community settings. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
