Pay: $21 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with on-call rotation

Start Date: ASAP

Opportunity: Temporary or Temp-to-Hire

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Non-Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Dallas, TX 75287. This position will focus on completing work orders, preparing units for move-ins, and assisting with general property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete and close maintenance work orders
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
• Complete painting, patching, and minor repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and community grounds
• Respond to resident maintenance requests professionally
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Follow all safety and property standards

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• EPA or HVAC certification is not required
• General maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Appliance repair experience preferred
• Must have basic hand and power tools
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
