Complaint Investigations Tech

Akkodis is seeking a Complaint Investigations Tech for a Contract with a client in Alameda, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for investigating returned medical devices, documenting findings, and supporting quality complaint resolution through detailed testing and analysis.


Rate Range: $28/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Complaint Investigations Tech Job Responsibilities include:

• Investigate returned medical devices and related products to identify root causes and support customer complaint resolution activities.
• Perform product testing and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Document investigation results, findings, and quality records accurately within the Complaint Handling System.
• Unpack, sort, and process returned products according to established procedures and product classifications.
• Maintain testing equipment, ensure calibration validity, and support compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality processes while supporting daily laboratory operations and complaint investigation activities.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field preferred.
• Entry-level role; technical experience in laboratory, quality, inspection, electronics troubleshooting, medical device, or biotech environments preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, data entry, documentation, and the ability to follow SOPs and written work instructions.
• Experience with electronic troubleshooting, laboratory testing equipment, quality investigations, or complaint handling in a regulated environment is preferred.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
