Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity Level 4 NICU setting
• Manage and monitor complex equipment including oscillators, conventional ventilators, CPAP, nasal cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC/UVC/PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-tubes
• Perform pre- and post-operative care for neonatal surgical patients
• Manage line changes involving multiple drips with accuracy and clinical competency
• Float within scope of practice to other units and satellite campuses as needed; mileage reimbursed from home base location
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (or confirmed ETA for posting prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience, or strong surgical experience from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns
• Current BLS certification
• Advanced NRP certification
• Cardiac experience required
• Must have reliable personal transportation; willingness to float to satellite campuses and other units (PICU, CTICU, Med Surg) within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Experience as a first-time traveler with verified Level 4 NICU background
• Prior experience in a children's hospital or dedicated pediatric care environment
