Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position requires the ability to float between various units based on patient care needs and staff requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
• Maintain an expected patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 or 1:3.
• Demonstrate proficiency in High-Risk OB and be prepared to float to Postpartum and High-Risk Antepartum units as necessary.
• Adhere to a 12-hour shift schedule with varying start times, including 3 am, 3 pm, 11 am, and 11 pm.
• Be flexible in shift assignments, primarily working days or nights, with at least one week's notice for schedule changes.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid vehicle for transportation to various unit assignments.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the region as needed.
• Availability to work weekends on an every-other-week basis.
• Must be open to on-call responsibilities if scheduled shifts are canceled.

Additional Information

This role includes opportunities for additional benefits, including mileage reimbursement for travel between facilities. Hotel accommodations may be provided for consecutive floating shifts.

All staff must follow the standard scrub color code: any color scrubs are acceptable, while specific units may provide designated attire.

Charting is conducted using the Epic system. This position does not incur any parking fees.
