Key Responsibilities for General Manager - Building Materials Industry

Sales & Operations: Oversee branch sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control to meet or exceed goals.
Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, including conducting performance reviews, addressing issues, and making personnel decisions.
Budget Management: Take full accountability for budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control.
Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing waste and cost.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement cost-effective measures for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Customer Engagement: Solicit and respond to customer feedback, addressing deficiencies to ensure continuous improvement and satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company programs, procedures, and safety protocols.
Strategic Planning: Forecast product demand, labor efficiency, and operational needs to align with branch objectives.
Other Duties: Attend relevant training sessions and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for General Manager - Building Materials Industry

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the building materials industry , with proven supervisory or management experience.
