Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Duties Build successful relationships to understand the needs of the business. Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline. Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews. Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications. Responsible for job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements. Assist with the overall interview, selection, and talent acquisition process. Assist with the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms. Represent the company at career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to attract top talent. Build relationships with local trade schools, universities/colleges, and other organizations to create a pipeline of potential candidates. Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations. Work closely with the HR team to manage the new hire experience. Stay knowledgeable on ongoing recruiting trends and best practices. Perform other HR duties as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration field preferred or equivalent professional work experience. Minimum of 1 year of talent acquisition/recruiting experience. Ability to travel at least 15% of the time within the DC Metro area, up to Baltimore, Maryland, and southern parts of Virginia. Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships with key personnel based on trust. Strong communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems. Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods. Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues. Understanding of employment laws and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
