Maintenance Technician

Adecco Staffing is working with a growing manufacturing company in Chester, VT to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician. First shift schedule Competitive pay based on experience Direct hire opportunity available Stable manufacturing environment Opportunity to work with a variety of production equipment Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities Job Duties Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, production, food manufacturing, or related environments Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience working with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, or production equipment is a plus Welding, fabrication, or PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving and communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work around machinery and manufacturing equipment Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely Pay Details $24.00 to $32.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
