Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful opportunity serving students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year! This contract position requires a dedicated professional available on-site to provide comprehensive psychological services across multiple elementary and middle schools. You'll play a crucial role supporting students and collaborating with various teams throughout the district during the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Familiarity with school-based psychological services, including evaluation and intervention
- Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Desired: Previous experience delivering services in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students, addressing needs related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD
- Deliver direct psychological services and participate in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Serve an itinerant caseload between five campuses, focusing mainly on elementary students with some support at the middle school level
- Collaborate with educators, families, and district staff to support student success and provide insight into effective interventions
- Play an active role in developing and implementing strategies that help students reach their full potential
Enjoy a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week on a contract basis, starting August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027. This position does not offer a virtual/VOCO option—on-site presence is required.
