Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to work on-site, itinerantly serving five campuses, and making a significant impact on students’ educational experiences. As a critical member of the support team, you’ll help to provide high-quality psychological services, deliver essential assessments, and collaborate with educators and families.
Desired qualifications:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Proven track record in school-based psychological services and assessments
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
- Experience in evaluations and interventions for Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI), including ADHD
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple elementary and middle school sites
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services and assessments for students, supporting IEP teams
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and support Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create targeted intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of all assessments, services, and interventions
- Serve as a resource for families, educators, and administrators concerning student needs, supports, and evaluation outcomes
- Travel between assigned campuses as required to support caseload
The role is on-site only, offering consistency with a fixed weekly schedule (35 hours), and begins August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
