Part of SMI Hotel Group, the Delta by Marriott is seeking energetic, enthusiastic Breakfast/Lunch Servers to join our team.Benefits:Health, dental and vision insurance (full-time employees)Paid Time Off (full-time and part-time employees)401K plan with company match (full-time and part-time employees)Hotel discounts (full-time and part-time employees)Paid holidays (full-time employees)Early access to earned wages (full-time and part-time employees)Responsibilities:Serve tables as determined by management by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely mannerComplete knowledge of hotel’s food and beverage preparation, menu, and pricingInteract with guests in a friendly/fast mannerClear, clean, and prepare tablesWhen serving alcoholic beverages, observe guest’s behavior, count number of drinks served, and follow proper procedure if guest is impaired to drive by suggesting transportation by taxi serviceEscalate guest service issues to management if you are unable to resolveEnsure guests are satisfied during their meal serviceOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum of 6 months server experienceExperience in hospitality preferredPossess basic math skills and cash-handlingAbility and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysSMI Hotel Group recruits the best and brightest, in order to deliver the highest quality service to our guests.
