RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Minimum 2+ years medical-surgical experience required
• Recent hospital experience and Trauma level II experience required
• Prior travel experience mandatory
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Work in 40-bed Post Surgical Care Unit providing pre and post-surgical care
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: day/evening 1:4 or 1:5, nights 1:5 to 1:7
• Fast-paced environment averaging 10-15 admissions per day
• Unit operates at 90-95% occupancy with average length of stay 2-3 days
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize patient care, and work as a team
• Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
