This position functions as the statewide recognized resource for policy, website development/maintenance and training development/execution for psychotropic medication use and oversight for children in foster care. This position participates on a team of individuals from the Permanency and Wellbeing unit, Foster Care Psychotropic Medication Oversight unit (FC-PMOU), pharmacy services, and with the CSA medical consultant to determine policy for foster care and training needs for a wide variety of stakeholders and partners engaged in providing treatment services for children in foster care. The goal of these efforts is to improve the health and mental health care and coordination of care for children served by MDHHS.

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Experience: Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.

Position Location/Remote Office: The office location for this position is at 235 S. Grand Ave., Lansing, MI. however, this position has the ability to work hybrid (remote/office). Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
