Welder I and Welder II East Metro, MN $18-$27hr 1st Shift

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Welder I and Welder II candidates for a manufacturing client in the East Metro . These are evaluation-to-hire opportunities on 1st shift, Monday-Friday (6:30 AM-3:00 PM) . Pay ranges from $18-$27/hour , depending on experience and weld test results.

Open Positions

Welder II - Frame Welder/Fabricator
Seeking an experienced MIG welder with metal fabrication skills to build commercial hollow metal doors and steel frames. Ideal candidates can read fabrication drawings, weld steel frames, grind and finish products, and work independently.

Welder I
Great opportunity for a less experienced welder with MIG welding knowledge who is eager to grow in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

MIG weld steel frames and hollow metal products
Grind and finish welds
Read work orders and tape measurements accurately
Operate grinders and other shop tools
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Qualifications

MIG welding experience (110V & 220V preferred)
Metal fabrication experience (Welder II)
Ability to read a tape measure
Experience with common shop tools
Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass a weld test, drug screen, and physical
