About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room - CWR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Must have Level I Trauma Experience, Scrub experience is a plus License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS - AHA Must-Have: Must do endovascular, spine, neuro, ortho, ortho trauma procedures Description: Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. This includes ensuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs. Interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments are essential. Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services is required. Effective communication with patients, families, and personnel is crucial. Preferred Skills: Endovascular procedures, spine procedures, neuro procedures, ortho procedures, ortho trauma procedures.
