Technical Artist

We're looking for a Technical Artist to join a fastmoving VR organization, working handson in a proprietary realtime engine. This role requires a strong balance of technical skill, product judgment, and the confidence to manage scope, timelines, and expectations in a complex environment.

• Work directly within a proprietary realtime engine to support VR development initiatives
• Partially manage and collaborate with external vendors, ensuring quality and alignment with internal standards
• Partner closely with crossfunctional teams, providing technical guidance and thoughtful pushback when needed
• Advocate for realistic timelines and scope, maintaining strong ownership over workload and priorities
• Apply strong product sense to technical decisions, balancing feasibility with impact

• Experience working in game engines; Unreal Engine preferred; Familiarity with Unity
• Software development experience, ideally with Python and C++ (preferred but not strictly required)
• Exposure to AI tools or workflows, ideally Claude Code
• Strong time management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fastpaced, evolving environment
• Comfortable being embedded in a VR organization and navigating ambiguity with confidence

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Android development experience
• React Native experience
• Strong C++ background
