Available Schedules Include:

• Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm
• Monday-Thursday - 4:00pm-2:30am
• Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am
• Friday-Sunday - 4:00pm-4:30am
• Friday-Monday - 6:00am-4:30pm

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Finisher / Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, finishing, and inspecting manufactured parts to meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in production, finishing, deburring, sanding, media blasting, or machine operation and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Perform production and finishing tasks according to detailed job sheets, drawings, and work instructions.
• Operate media blasting equipment and use various hand tools to remove powder, smooth surfaces, and prepare parts for final delivery.
• Inspect parts to verify dimensions, features, insert locations, and overall quality.
• Identify and remove defects while ensuring parts meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform hand finishing, deburring, sanding, and other surface preparation processes as needed.
• Complete additional finishing operations including inserts, sealing, bonding, and other customer-specific requirements.
• Document production times and maintain accurate records.
• Notify supervisors of quality concerns, material issues, or production discrepancies.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support a positive team environment and assist with other production duties as needed.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, machine operation, finishing, deburring, media blasting, sanding, or related production work.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, job sheets, drawings, and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to identify defects and make sound quality decisions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing production priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of CARLSBAD, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
